Distribution has begun of the second part to the smartphone app “Gintama Alarm” created by TV Tokyo Communications, which is available via the App Store and Google Play.
The app allows users to use the voice of Sakata Gintoki (CV: Tomokazu Sugita) as an alarm. Other character voices are available either individually or together in a pack for an additional cost. “Gintama Alarm” features many voice clips that were created specifically for the app and many lines of dialogue that can’t be heard anywhere else. The alarm screen also comes with enjoyable functions.
The iPhone version comes loaded with a function to buy different skins for the app, which you can use to customize the app’s menus and backgrounds with your favorite characters. This version of the app comes with five characters: Sakata Gintoki, Katsura Kotaro, Hijikata Toshiro, Okita Sogo, and Kamui. The basic app costs 85 yen and the full pack costs 500 yen (both prices include tax).
The second part of the Android version comes with four characters: Sakata Gintoki, Hijikata Toshiro, Okita Sogo, and Kamui. The base price for this version is 99 yen with the full pack also costing 500 yen (both prices include tax). Also, on Docomo’s and Au’s Android-supported site TV Tokyo Anime Mobile, fans can get full access to Gintama moving wallpapers and more for 315 yen per month.
