In October 2013, a new Gundam TV series called Gundam Build Fighters will start airing on TV Tokyo. This information was revealed in a video presentation in July 2.
The anime is set in a near future Japan where the protagonists are aiming to become Gundam Battle world champions with their own self-made Gundam models. The keywords are "all Gundam" and "moving Gundam." The Gunpla of the Gundam series so far will be fighting against each other for superiority.
The series is being directed by Kenji Nagasaki with character designs by Kenichi Ohnuki.
