During the "Tokyo Gundam Project 2013 Summer Festa," which will be held between July 30 and Aug. 22 at Odaiba, Tokyo, the first marble Gundam statue in the world will be displayed.
The event also aims to promote sports in Tokyo with "Tokyo Gundam Project 2013." The marble Gundam statue is called "REIMEI White Dawn," and it is a 1/12 scale model that is approximately 1.5 meters tall. It was produced by the Tokyo University of Arts over six months, and the statue is posed in the likeness of a warrior of Olympus preparing to participate in the Greek Olympics.
During the event, there will be dance contests, trash picking competitions, and sports demonstrations to promote the “Tokyo Sport Festival 2013.” The location is Symbol Promenade Park next to the life-size Gundam statue located in Diver City, Tokyo.
