Voltage Entertainment USA, a subsidiary of Voltage, has released part 7 of the North American female-oriented romance simulation game series My Romance, “Intimate Business.” The game was released as an iOS app on June 27.
The app is the English version of the popular Japanese romance simulation game Office Romance: Secret Between Lovers that depicts dangerous love affairs between the heroine, who works at an apparel company, and her good-looking male coworkers. The setting is an apparel company in LA, and the game features illustrations with a stylish touch not seen before. Office Romance: Secret Between Lovers began being distributed on a cell phone carrier’s official site in April 2010. Since then, the game has ranked highly in the romance game category. In May of this year, a version of the game called “Office Secrets” was released. This version features illustrations and a worldview to fit the tastes of women from English-speaking countries, an entirely new story and characters, and is completely translated into English. Within no time, the app gained high popularity in Japan.
The My Romance series, which currently spans seven games, has become even more complete with the North American release. From here on, titles from Voltage Entertainment USA for the North American market will be released successively.
