Beginning on July 6, Gintama: The Movie: The Final Chapter: Be Forever Yorozuya will finally begin screening in Japan. In the two weeks leading up to its release, anticipation for the movie has been increasing more and more.
In celebration of the movie’s release, limited quantities of the “Gintama Yorozuya Box” began being sold at Lotteria on June 27. This fun set of Gintama goods is appropriate for the movie.
“Gintama Yorozuya Box” comes with a hot Tandoori chicken sandwich, medium french fries, strawberry milkshake, and two sheets of jacket stickers for use on the Lotteria original IC card all for 800 yen (tax included). Another worthwhile point is that the box features an illustration from the movie.
Also, original designs drawn specifically for Lotteria have been used on the stickers, including a design of the movie’s poster and a design of Gintoki drinking a strawberry milkshake. This illustration of a sweets-loving Gintoki can only be obtained at Lotteria.
A present campaign has also been implemented in which those who purchase this box set will be entered into a lottery to win a poster signed by the cast and a “Gintoki × Mameshiba” collaborative clear file.
Gintama, the TV anime for which began seven years ago, is well known for being an entertaining work packed with gags, action, and deep humanity. For Gintama: The Movie: The Final Chapter: Be Forever Yorozuya, original author Hideaki Sorachi created the story and acted as character drafter.
Gintama: The Movie: The Final Chapter: Be Forever Yorozuya has a magnificent story that encompasses the past, present, and future. Because it is labeled as the conclusion to the Gintama anime, a grand finale living up to that label is expected. It seems that this unofficially recognized last installment is causing quite a stir among fans.
