S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Wizard Flame Dragon Review

Flame Dragon, the evolved version of Kamen Rider’s Flame Style transformation achieved by using the power of the phantom WizarDragon who haunts his Underworld, is now a figure from S.H.Figuarts! Can the red Magic Stone turn despair into hope?

The distinctive robe is done in a matte finish, rather than a shiny luster. The blocks for the chest, lower torso and coat tails are all separate, but there is a continuity between them that keeps it from feeling unnatural.

The proportions have been improved greatly in this model, with the face size and chest-stomach balance being done properly, among other things.

Clear material cut like a gem stone has been used in the mask and chest areas, giving it a feeling of high quality. There are pointy areas done in ABS plastic such as the antennas, so it’s important to try not to get stabbed.

The figure includes the dragon head that appears when using the Special Ring.

The Transformation Wizard Rings on the left hands have all been changed into the Flame Dragon form. The fingers are also pointy.

This is the exclusive platform for the Flame Dragon. The base, which is included with the figure, is printed with an image of a fire-breathing dragon.

This is a fantastic response to the criticisms over the Flame Style figure!

The problems people had with proportion, mobility, and the difficulty handling the WizarDriver have been skillfully fixed here. In particular, the way in which they solved both the styling and range of motion of the neck at once seems like it could revolutionize action figures from here on out.

There are four basic styles, so it may be a bit difficult to do, but it would be nice if, at some point, they offered new parts that seemed like they were from Decade. There are a lot of other points to be satisfied about, so my only request would be to do the ankles in a die cast and to include special additional parts such as flames or the magic square. Also, if you actually put it into poses, it becomes apparent that an action-specific robe would be convenient.
