New Anime for “Rozen Maiden” to Begin Broadcasting This July

The new TV anime for the Rozen Maiden series will begin broadcasting on July 4. The anime will begin broadcasting on TBS at 1:58 a.m. (JST). It will then begin broadcasting later in the month on MBS and CBC. The anime will also begin broadcasting at 1:30 a.m. on July 13 on BS-TBS. The anime will be viewable all over Japan.

When main character Jun receives mail asking “Yes or no?” his world is flipped upside down. The Jun who answers “No” is a college student living by himself. Not being able to fit in at his college or at his part-time job at a bookstore, Jun regrets staying indoors during his middle school years. On the other hand, the Jun who answers “Yes” is a middle school student who lives alone. He becomes the master of the “wound up” Shinku. There is a Jun who chooses “Yes” and a Jun who chooses “No.” However, these two worlds that surely can’t intersect are connected. Shinku comes to the world of the Jun who answers “No” in which “Rozen Maidens” should not exist.
