Capcom’s popular social game Mega Man Xover for Android and iOS now features an original boss character designed by a user. The design was chosen as the best from designs that were submitted by users as part of a special event and is now a master boss in the game.
The winning character is Arcade Man by boss13 and is designed after an arcade machine. Characters from various Capcom games including Ghosts 'n Goblins and SonSon jump out of his body and attack alongside him. This idea that captured the hearts of longtime Capcom fans seemed to be a deciding factor in choosing Arcade Man as the winning design.
Mega Man Xover is the newest work in the Mega Man series, which has had passionate fans since the original days of Nintendo. From the series’ earliest days, users voting for which characters would appear in the game has been famous among longtime fans of the series. From now on, more of such events are anticipated.
