Banpresto’s “Ichiban Kuji One Piece Punk Hazard” began late last month for 600 yen a ticket.
This “no-lose character lottery” is themed after the Punk Hazard Arc of the popular manga One Piece currently serialized in Weekly Shounen Jump and includes 25 prizes over 11 tiers plus a Last One prize. Prizes includes Smoker, who has been made into a figure for the first time, as well as Trafalgar Law and Monkey D. Luffy wearing new outfits. Other quality prizes include a cushion, cute Chopper plushie, familiar card stand figures, screen cleaner character straps, as well as useful everyday items like plates, glasses, tote bags, and face towels. The lineup is rich with variety.
The Last One prize, given at the end of the lottery, is the “Tashigi Figure Smoker ver.” It’s facial expression, cigar, and more express that Smoker is trapped in Tashigi’s body. Fans who purchase a ticket can also enter a double chance campaign to win a special colored version of the B tier prize “Trafalgar Law Figure.” There will only be 100 lucky double campaign winners!
