On May 21, it was announced that the social card game Attack on Titan: Counterattack of Wings has already broken through 100,000 players. The game is based on the comic Attack on Titan, which is currently serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine. The series is hugely popular, with sales of its comic surpassing 19.5 million copies. The game was developed by Strategy & Partners and is available on the SNS site Gree.
Attack on Titan: Counterattack of Wings is a social trading card game that launched on Gree on April 26. This game aims to be a new type of social game, one in which players can freely experience the world of Attack on Titan and all of its charm.
The game has an innovative training component in which players can strengthen weapons beyond ordinary limits and create new and modded weapons using various materials. Furthermore, the game offers players the ability to change character classes, acquire new skills, and customize their characters!
New to the game is a Defense Battle mode in which players fight in huge scale battles against Titans in real time and must protect humanity and the city from a Titan invasion! This mode can also be played cooperatively with other players for even more excitement.
In celebration of reaching 100,000 players, a special campaign will be implemented. In the campaign, wonderful items like a SR ticket and a reality SR “Scimitar” card will be given out as presents! This campaign will begin soon, so don’t miss it!
Furthermore, in the ongoing campaign “Sacrifice Your Heart!” those who level up a new recruit to level 25 will receive the Armin EX class card, “Strategy Officer”! This card will be distributed once the campaign ends.
