Walk Through 10 Years of Work from Tokyo Zokei University at “Zokei Animations 10 Years Selection”

From May 28 to June 2, the event “Zokei Animations 10 Years Selection” will be held in Art Space Kimura in Kyobashi, Tokyo. The event will introduce works produced during the last 10 years in Tokyo Zokei University’s animation and design departments. On display at the exhibit will be videos, documents, and pictures from 250 students ranging from first semester students to seventh semester students who graduated this spring. Furthermore, the event will be combined with the screening event Anizo 2013 for enrolled students. The event will showcase the achievements and the results of the training received by those in the animation major.

The animation major was established at Tokyo Zokei University in 2003. The event will demonstrate the talent of those enrolled in the school, such as first semester students Sakamoto Yusuke, who created “Telephone Poll Mom” and “Sister of Dandelions,” and Ayaka Nakata, who created “The Day the Tut-Tut Bird Sang” and “Granny’s Work Room.”

A whole lineup of up-and-coming creators are planned, even including Mariko Tokunaga, who exhibited in Tokyo International Anime Fair 2013’s Creator’s World. The event will be open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., except for the last day on which it will close at 5 p.m.
