The Flowers of Evil is a TV anime that began broadcasting last month. It’s sensational contents have become a hot topic, beginning with the heroine’s disparaging insult she throws at others. It has been announced that the anime’s theme song, which shares its name with the anime, will be released on May 22.
The single will be released with four versions of the opening theme sung by the vocalist of the band Uchujin, Asako Shinosaki. The CD’s jacket is a grotesque design that features a collage of the impressive “black flowers” that are introduced in the story. The design was inspired by these “black flowers.”
As an original first bonus, the single will also come with additional threefold jackets. These jackets come in four varieties that are each based on colors of different volumes of the original work. The jackets are all the same size, so you can exchange them out for your favorite one.
Different stores are giving out different versions of the additional jacket as a bonus, so for those who want a specific jacket, check which stores offer which jackets before you pre-order the CD.
