The anime Angel’s Drop will begin broadcasting on the animation specially channel AT-X this month. The anime’s cast has also been announced.
The anime’s main characters are Botan (CV: Rei Matsuzaki) and Shinobu (CV: Mai Goto), first year middle school students who join an academy for aspiring ojou-samas called St. Azumaria Girls' Academy. After the girls meet a self-proclaimed angel named Un (CV: Hiromi Igarashi), they end up eating her halo! Afterward, they produce an “angel’s egg.” The is a yuri anime that interweaves various elements of fetishism.
The anime has picked up attention for its unique story, lovely characters, and an expression of fetishism that has not been seen before. Syncing up with the announcement of the anime, a promotional video was released, picking up over 200,000 views on YouTube. In addition, attention for the anime has been further spread due to word of mouth through SNS sites. The anime doesn’t just have beautiful visuals, but also a powerful cast of young voice stars.
