Nippon Ichi Software announced the release date for The Witch and the Hundred Knights to be July 25. The game is an action RPG for the PlayStation 3 that puts great importance on combat tactics. It is also gathering attention due to the character designer being Takehiro Harada, whose name should sound familiar to those who have played the Disgaea series, which is made by the same company.
The Witch and the Hundred Knights takes place in a fantasy world where the Forest Witch and the Swamp Witch fight. The Swamp Witch, Metallica, will do whatever it takes to fulfill her purpose. She creates the magical beings called the “Hundred Knights,” and the player embarks on an adventure to defeat the Forest Witch as one of the Hundred Knights.
There is plenty of action in store for the Hundred Knights, and the most interesting trait of the game is that the player can customize their character’s actions, creating original attacks.
The Witch and the Hundred Knights is a game that has worried fans, as its release was postponed two times in the past. However, this time, the release date has been made official. The first press limited edition of the game will contain a Nendoroid Petit Metallica in addition to the manual and the soundtrack. If you really want to get your hands on the cute and deformed Metallica, order it right away!
