On July 6, Gintama: The Movie: The Final Chapter: Be Forever Yorozuya will open in theaters. As the titles states, it is supposed to be the last film in the series, a point that has become highly discussed. It seems that this secret will be revealed in theaters. On June 29, “Gintama: The Movie: Ginmaku Zenya Festival 2013” will be held in Tokyo at Ryoguko Kokugikan.
This summer’s Gintama event is being held at the same venue where “Gintama Spring Festival 2010” and “Gintama Sakura Festival 2011” were held. With 2013 marking the third time a Gintama event will be held there, it seems to have become a tradition.
The attending members of the voice cast have all been announced. Those who will make stage appearances are Tomokazu Sugita (Sakata Gintoki), Daisuke Sakaguchi (Shimura Shinpachi), and Rie Kugimiya (Kagura) from Yorozuya; and Susumu Chiba (Kondou Isao), Kazuya Nakai (Hijikata Toushirou), Kenichi Suzumura (Sogo Okita), and Tetsuharu Aota (Yamazaki Sagaru) from Shinsengumi; as well as Mikako Takahashi (Terakado Tsuu) and Gorgeous.
In conjunction with the announcement of this event, an intriguing key visual has been released. Similar to the scene at a film premiere, the visual features a red carpet with a tuxedo-wearing Gin and Gakura wearing a dress, as well as Shimura glancing at the camera. This visual may change slightly as the event date becomes closer and new information is revealed. What may develop? Be sure to be on the lookout!
