“Toriko: Gourmet Battle!” Launch Day Announced!

The Nintendo 3DS game Toriko: Gourmet Battle!, which is themed after the TV anime Toriko, will release on July 4 for 5,980 yen (tax included). Toriko is a popular manga currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. The limited first edition bonus has also been announced. A Data Carddass “Toriko Bakugari Jungle!!” original card with a barcode unlocking the character Netoro for play is included.

Toriko: Gourmet Battle! is the first Toriko battle action game that allows up to four people to play together. Battle strategies aren’t the only important aspect of the game. In fact, it encapsulates all that is wonderful about Toriko by including special moves acquired by searching for and eating food and special ingredients.

Many battle stages in the game are themed after scenes from Toriko, and each stage has a special trait. In order to win against each opponent, it is necessary to have an understanding of each stage.

Be sure to grab your Nintendo 3DS, and something to snack on when Toriko: Gourmet Battle! releases this July!
