An original stamp sheet featuring artwork from director Makoto Shinkai’s films went on sale on April 4. The stamp sheet was originally sold late last year at Comic Market 83. Because it sold well, it is now available for a limited time on Animate’s online shop. The stamp sheet features an arrangement of famous scenes from Voices of a Distant Star, The Place Promised in Our Early Days, 5 Centimeters Per Second, and Children Who Chase Lost Voices.
There is also another point to take notice of. The stamps come on a sheet that has a large picture for Shinkai’s newest film, The Garden of Words, which will be released in Japan on May 31. The stamp sheet looks back at Shinkai’s past films and looks ahead to his new film.
