On March 30, the game development company Level-5 held the event “Danball Senki x Inazuma Eleven GO Fan Thanksgiving” at Tokyo Big Sight.
The most popular part of the event was without a doubt the “Artemis Holyroad Excellent Game Tournament Finale.” The tournament traveled around Japan and covered four games: Danball Senki W, Inazuma Eleven GO 2 Chrono Stone Neppu, Inazuma Eleven GO 2 Chrono Stone Raimei, and Inazuma Eleven GO Strikers 2013. After the band T-Pistonz+KMC performed the theme song to the Inazuma series, the finals began.
The tournament was broken into two classes: junior class (those in fourth year of elementary and below), and master class (age unrestricted). The finals included those who won the preliminary rounds as well as those who applied and were selected the day of the event. Prizes for the winners included the ability to appear in the next work of either series, a family vacation to Hawaii, goods signed by the cast of both series, and more.
Fans also got the opportunity to get the latest information on the series before anyone else, including news regarding the broadcast of Danball Senki Wars, which started on April 3, and news on the Nintendo 3DS game Youkai Watch, which will be released this summer.
More than 12,000 fans gathered for the event. Due to the tournament and concert, saying that the event was a huge success that left fans highly satisfied is by no means a stretch.
