Second Season Announced for Nishio Ishin’s “Monogatari” Series

Starting this July, six works from the Monogatari series will be broadcast over six months as the series’ second season. The works are Nekomonogatari (White), Kabukimonogatari, Hanamonogatari, Otorimonogatari*, Onimonogatari, and Koimonogatari. Also, a new visual has been released that features an illustration representing each work.

Otaku are interested to see how the series will develop from Bakemonogatari, Nisemonogatari, and Nekomonogatari (Black). Also, Nishio Ishin’s latest novel Koyomimonogatari will release in May. The novel Owarimonogatari is anticipated to release thereafter.

In addition, Katanagatari began broadcasting this month. It plain to see that Nishio Ishin’s Monogatari anime adaptations are gathering a lot of attention.
