Last year marked the 25th anniversary of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. Although last year’s celebrations came to a climax with game, anime, and exhibit events, there is still more fun to be had. This year, the limited edition of Jojoveller will be released. A regular edition will also be released in 2014, however, the limited edition includes exclusive content that will not be included in the regular edition.
The limited edition includes three books and two Blu-ray discs enclosed in a beautiful enamel box. One of the three books features JoJo paintings and a specially illustrated front cover. It includes works displayed at JoJo exhibits and unreleased work, as well as commentary from Hirohiko Araki, the creator of JoJo. The “History Book” and “Stand Book” give detailed explanations of story elements together with secret information from Araki and others who worked on past JoJo works. It’s a must read for any JoJo fan.
The 2-disc “Documentary Film of JoJo’s” is also included on Blu-ray. The film offers a behind-the-scenes look of Araki’s world as well as JoJo exhibits held last year.
Pre-orders for the limited edition of Jojoveller are being accepted now through May 7. The product will be released on Sept. 9. Keep in mind that this edition is anticipated to sell out, so if you are a JoJo fan, be sure to pre-order your copy soon.
