Joysound Begins “Macross” Prize Campaign! Sing a “Macross” Song and Win a Prize!

On March 15, the karaoke chain Joysound started the “Macross x Joysound: Macross Crossover Campaign,” which is a collaboration with the event “Sankyo Presents Macross Crossover Live 30” that will take place on July 13 at Makuhari Messe.

As part of the campaign, five people will be chosen by lottery to win one of several prizes, including a pair of tickets to “Macross Crossover Live 30,” the PlayStation 3 game Macross 30: Voices Across the Galaxy, and the Blu-ray disc Macross FB7: Listen to My Song.

Participants can enter into the lottery by singing one of eight selected songs from Macross on either the Joysound f1, Crosso, or HyperJoy Wave and completing the application form.

However, this isn’t all to Joysound’s collaboration with Macross. An original Macross avatar item is available on Joysound’s social media site, Utasuki, and 12 Macross songs each with their own animation video are being distributed on Joysound Dive and Karaoke Joysound Movie.

Furthermore, the karaoke club Joysound Ikebukuro West Park, which has rooms themed after Macross, is selling an original food and drink menu featuring Macross-inspired items, such as the “Starlight Natto Dog.”
