Puella Magi Madoka Magica has been chosen as the second work in Bandai Candy’s VoiColle wafer and card series. This new series, which features popular characters’ voices, went on sale on March 19 for 158 yen each. The first work in this interesting goods series was Gintama, which went on to sell quite well.
VoiColle (short for Voice Collection) is a goods series that comes with a sweet wafer treat with a card attached. When the serial number on the card is entered on the series’ official site via a PC, smartphone, or cell phone (note: this service doesn’t work on all phones), the voice of the character on the card can be heard. In order to use this service, a free Bandai Namco ID is required.
The Madoka Magica VoiColle series features the voices of 22 characters, including Kaname Madoka (CV: Aoi Yuki), Akemi Homura (CV: Chiwa Saito), Miki Sayaka (CV: Eri Kitamura), Tomoe Mami (CV: Kaori Mizuhashi), Sakura Kyoko (CV: Ai Nonaka), and Kyubey (CV: Emiri Kato). The voice clips include characters’ lines from popular scenes, a personal introduction, and more. The service is chock-full of dialogue from characters that you can’t hear anywhere else.
Furthermore, when you collect 10 voices, a secret voice will be unlocked. You can hear sample voices on the service’s official site, so why not have a listen?
