You can now play crane games from the comfort of your home with Netch's internet catcher of the same name. The service enables users to control a real crane game in real time for premium goods via their smartphone or PC. The service also gives users the sensation of playing an actual crane game in an arcade while trying to win a prize. Best of all, prizes won will be shipped throughout Japan free of charge. Currently, the service doesn’t ship internationally, so if you live outside of Japan, be sure to ship the prize to a friend in Japan first!
Thirty-six machines have been added to the 14 beta machines for a total of 50 machines. The machines also have more than 60 varieties of premium goods available. From here on, the lineup of prize items will be increased to include items that cannot be won from crane machines in arcades, including premium goods, random goods, and candies. Netch plans to have 100 machines by this summer and 500 machines by the end of this year.
Enjoy the fun of Japan’s arcades with no plane ticket required!
