“Evangelion 100.0” Exhibit to Tour Hiroshima and Fukuoka

The anime Evangelion has become a social phenomenon and its momentum shows no signs of slowing down. Evangelion 100.0 is an exhibit looking back at the roughly 2000 goods that were created during the “Eva boom.” The exhibit has already been held in Nagoya, Umeda, and Shibuya. This spring, the exhibit is coming to Hiroshima and Fukuoka.

Radio Eva, the official project for Rebuild of Evangelion, chose Eva related items from 100 categories to display at Evangelion 100.0. The exhibit offers fans the chance to see the world of Eva from a new angle through seeing how Eva has been portrayed in products by varying companies.

When the exhibit was first held in 2012 at Nagoya Parco, Umeda Loft, and Shibuya Parco, it attracted a total of 26,000 people. Due to this positive outcome, it has been decided that the exhibit will also be held this spring at Hiroshima Parco and Fukuoka Parco. Furthermore, limited shops will also be opening at Shizuoka Parco and Shibuya Parco. There are also plans to display the two meter tall Eva Unit 01 that was used to promote the release of Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo at Shizuoka Parco.
