Samurai Cats, the simulation game that features a cast of Japan’s historic military commanders in cat form, has already passed its second year anniversary. In celebration, the event “Neko Military History” was held on Feb. 22. As a commemoration of the service passing its two year mark, many of the cat characters were drawn in a variety of situations. The event was held in-game and was open to all players, with no pre-registration being required.
Samurai Cats is a social game developed by TECMO KOEI Games and is a parody of the company’s game Nobunaga's Ambition, a more serious simulation of the Warring States period that has gained popularity. Samurai Cats is based on this game’s premise, but was changed to be more lighthearted and comical. It is a refreshing game with quite elaborate scenes and enjoyable, genuine simulation gameplay. For those interested in Japan’s Warring States period and Nobunaga’s Ambition,” but find them a bit too serious, *Samurai Cats may be the game for you!
