On Feb. 10, at Wonder Festival 2013 Winter, Good Smile Racing announced the 2013 Super GT series team for the Hatsune Miku racing car. The project’s concept is “a racing team running alongside fans.” Racing Miku 2013 Ver., the team’s official character, also made her debut appearance on the stage.
Good Smile Racing was established in 2009. They became quite a hot topic in 2011 when they became a series champion. Last year, they regrettably missed out on winning the championship. Hopefully the next win will be this year!
The 2013 team continues to be considerably strong. The drivers this year will again be Kataoka Tatsuya and Taniguchi Nobuteru. The team has full support from BMW Motorsports and BMW Japan. It seems that we can look forward to an even more powerful racing performance this year!
