Nyanko-sensei has become an anman!? That’s right! A chestnut-filled anman (bun with sweet bean filling) in the image of the popular character from Natsume’s Book of Friends is now on sale at Family Mart.
This delightful treat comes in an orange and white design and features a printed image of Nyanko-sensei on the top. Each anman is filled with diced chestnuts and sweet bean paste.
The Nyanko-sensei anman went on sale on Feb. 19 at 9,300 Family Mart locations in Japan. Quantities are limited and each anman costs 120 yen (tax included).
