The TV anime Ginga Kikoutai: Majestic Prince (*MJP*) will begin broadcasting next month. The anime is being directed by Keitaro Motonaga, who also directed Katanagatari and Jormungand. Other staff includes character designer Keitaro Motonaga, who also worked on Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, and screenwriter Reiko Yoshida of K-On! fame. The anime is a hot topic because of the wonderful and talented staff.
On the MJP official site, the mecha design for the main character Hitachi Izuru has been revealed. Izuru controls the “Red Five,” a mecha beautifully designed in red in accordance with the name. The MJP official site revealed the “Red Five” as well as four other main mecha and their details.
