On Feb. 23, the long-awaited movie A Certain Magical Index Movie: Miracle of Endymion began screening in Japan. Before this, starting on Feb. 2, the Tama Monorail began a promotional campaign for the movie. As part of the campaign an event featuring voice actors from the movie was held at the Tama Center station.
The monorail is well known in the Tama area, and from Feb. 2 - March 14 a special version of the monorail called “To Aru Monorail”, which is decked out in artwork for the movie, will be in operation. The monorail features artwork on the front and back as well as posters and advertisements for both A Certain Magical Index and A Certain Scientific Railgun covering the inside.
An exhibit called “To Aru Station Gallery” has also been set up at the Tama Center, Takahatafudo, and Tachikawa South stations. Many materials and documents related to the series, including brand new screenshots of the movie, are on display.
Other than these special events, commemorative train tickets are also being sold. This promotional campaign is sure to get all of Tama excited for A Certain Magical Index Movie: Miracle of Endymion.
