Singing and Speaking Synthesizer “Project CeVIO” Releases! Demo Set up at Animate Akihabara!

Frontier Works has launched its new user generated content (UGC) supported software, Project CeVIO. The download version of the software is now available, and the package version will be available in early summer.

Project CeVIO combines an easy to use singing and speaking synthesizer to produce a synthesizer that has an abundant range of emotions and realistic vocal quality. A demonstration called CeVIO Vision has been set up on a large monitor at the front entrance to Animate Akihabara.

The demonstration features a life-sized version of Sato Sasara, one of the characters of Project CeVIO, delivering various Animate news. Shoppers can also have a direct conversation with Sasara by using the microphone set up in front of the CeVIO Vision monitor.
