On Jan. 25, a picture exhibit for Daichohen Doraemon opened at the Fujiko F Fujio Museum. The exhibit focuses on Fujiko’s representative work, Doraemon, and is centered on introducing pictures from the longer works in the series.
The first work in the Daichohen Doraemon series, Nobita’s Dinosaur, was published in CoroCoro Comic in 1980. Since then, a new work has been made every year in this series to tie in with the Doraemon movies, which release every spring. Including the unfinished work Nobita’s Adventure in Clockwork City, 18 works have been created in this series.
At the exhibit, valuable pictures and drawings from each work in the series are on display. The items on display have been divided into three sections by time period. Works from Nobita’s Dinosaur and Nobita’s Adventure in Clockwork City will be on display in the museum year-round.
