Cookpad and “Cooking Papa” Collaborate!

Cookpad, Japan’s largest recipe service, has collaborated with the popular manga Cooking Papa. Cookpad is distributing weekly recipes of recommended food from the manga.

Starting on Jan. 23, Cookpad has been distributing one recipe from each story in the manga every Wednesday. The recipes are free, however, a premium account is needed to view the recipes along with the manga after the first story. Premium account holders will also gain access to exclusive content.

Eighty to ninety percent of Cookpad users are females within the age range of 20-30. The number of monthly users exceeds 20 million.

Cooking Papa is a long-running manga by Kodansha that has been serialized in Weekly Manga Magazine since 1985. Currently, the manga spans 122 volumes.
