Last year marked the 25th anniversary of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. The series has expanded into anime and games, and many events were held for the 25th anniversary. However, it seems a surprise collaboration has been saved for last. In the February 2013 issue of the fashion magazine Spur (published by Shueisha), a 24 page, full-color spin-off story collaborating JoJo and Gucci called “Jolyne, Fly High with Gucci” was published!
The spin-off story follows the protagonist of Part 6: Stone Ocean, Kujo Jolyne, and depicts a certain incident at an airport. The story also features appearances by other characters including Blono Buccellati and Leone Abbacchio from Part 5, which is sure to make fans very happy.
The characters that appear in the story all wear clothing from Gucci’s 2013 Cruise Collection. This is the second collaboration project between JoJo, Gucci, and Spur, with the first being the story “Rohan da Gucci”, which was published in the October 2011 issue of Spur.
This collaboration between Jolyne and Gucci fits perfectly in the popular female magazine Spur. The February issue of Spur is now on sale, so pick it up while you can.
