Taking a break from voicing the character Nakano Azusa in the TV anime K-On!, Ayana Taketatsu has released her third single “Jikuu Tours” (“Space-Time Tours”).
The song features a wonderful lineup of staff including producer Kyohei Tsutsumi, who has worked on many famous songs on Japan’s hit charts, and lyricist Junji Ishiwatari, who has written a great number of songs for bands such as Superfly and Girls’ Generation. The song was also arranged by Shuntaro Kobayashi, who also worked on Taketatsu’s first and second singles. Taketatsu had this to say about the song: “The melody is one that many people, from children to adults, can enjoy. I sang the song with all of the people I wanted to hear it in mind.”
A special offer has also been arranged for those who buy the CD. A limited number of purchasers will be chosen to participate in the “Taketa Tours” in which Tsutsumi herself will be the tour conductor.
This collaboration of one of today’s most popular voice actresses with such a stellar cast of rare hitmakers is electrifying and well worth listening to.
