Nintendo’s new system, the Wii U, was finally released in Japan on Dec. 8, 2012, where it has been making headlines. In America, the system was released ahead of Japan and is quickly gaining a following.
For those who own a Wii U, here is a game that is well worth your attention. Warriors Orochi 2 Hyper, is a hack and slash action game that combines the much loved heroes from the Dynasty Warriors series and the Samurai Warriors series into one enjoyable game. The game was released in Japan as a launch title for the Wii U on Dec. 8.
Warriors Orochi 2 Hyper is an enhanced version of the PS3/Xbox 360 game Warriors Orochi 2, which was released in December of 2011. The game features new characters, such as Shinno, and new game modes, such as a 3x3 card battle mode called Duel Mode. Even for those who played the first game, there is still much fun to be had in this enhanced version. Possibly the biggest change over the previous version is the use of a new play style thanks to the Wii U’s GamePad. With the added screen on the controller, split screen co-op play becomes even more fun.
