Hatsune Miku Song Chosen as Theme Song to the Game “7th Dragon 2020-II”

On Dec. 27, 2012, SEGA announced that the Hatsune Miku song “HeavenZ-ArmZ” has been chosen as the theme song for the PSP game 7th Dragon 2020-II, which will be released in April. The music video for the song will also be made available on the game’s official site.

“HeavenZ-ArmZ” is an original song written exclusively for the game by the popular artist sasakure.UK. Aside from being used as the vocalist for the song, Hatsune Miku will also appear in the game as a mysterious songstress called Hatsune Miku Type 2021. Many players are waiting in anticipation to see how this character will look in the game and what part she will play. On producing the opening theme for the game, sasakure.UK had this to say:

Hi, this is sasakure.UK! I had the pleasure of being able to create the theme song for the game 7th Dragon 2020-II. With this song, I aimed to tell a story that followed the world and story of the game. Together with the song, I wanted to capture the feeling of the fleeting yet powerful existence of those who fight to completely destroy the dragons on Earth. Well then, please enjoy it!
