Legend of Fighters Season 2 is a martial arts social RPG for iOS and Android. The game is a follow up to the original Osu! Dojoyaburi~Legend of Fighters.
In Legend of Fighters Season 2, players take on the role of a martial arts dojo manager. Players choose one of six styles of martial arts (karate, judo, Kung-Fu, Muay Thai, boxing and Tae Kwon Do) to be the focus of their dojo. Players train and increase their fighters and battle rival dojos in order to become the supreme dojo. The game is free to download and play, and no signup is required.
Dojo management is broken into three segments: martial arts training, challenging rival dojos, and business. In martial arts training, players stack up martial arts drills for their fighters to increase the overall ability of their dojo, which nets experience points and funds. Since this is how players develop their dojo, it would be a good idea to start with this segment upon beginning the game.
Once players have forged their fighters enough, they can challenge rival dojos. Winning these challenges gives players experience points and increases their fighters’ abilities. Be careful though, challenging too many lower level dojos will give your dojo a bad reputation. Players must use discretion in choosing a dojo that has a comparable level to theirs to avoid this.
The business segment is just as it sounds; players manage their dojo in order to make money. This can be achieve in several ways such as implementing children’s martial arts classes or paying for TV commercials. Expanding your business is a great way to earn money quickly.
Let’s take a look at what’s new in Legend of Fighters Season 2. First, is the inclusion of female fighters on the menu screen. The image of your dojo also quickly changes depending on its status, which is a point that is sure to make players happy since feedback on their dojo is instant and easy to understand. The female fighters are also available for each type of martial art, meaning that players can choose their favorite style without having to miss out on anything. Another new component is the inclusion of special missions for players’ fighters. Clearing these missions will net players rare items and prize money. Also, enemies now appear randomly during the training segment. Returning from the last game is the ability to take on these enemies with a friend. However, new to this feature is the ability to obtain cards and items that cannot be obtained in single player.
Several updates have also been announced for the game including a feature where fighters can be strengthened by creating bonds with one another and working together, as well as an encyclopedia function where players can browse fighters. If you haven’t tried this game out yet, you should definitely give it a shot!
