After the serious announcements were over, the fans had calmed down and a subdued atmosphere filled the venue. However, as soon as Zwei took the stage to perform the opening theme to Robotics; Notes, “Junjou Spectra”, the atmosphere was supercharged, heating up to its boiling point. Continuing onward was Fumika who performed the ending theme to Robotics;Notes, “Umikaze no Bureibu”, and KENN who performed two songs from the love voice drama game Meiji Tokyo Renka, “Tokyo Romantan” and “Pieces of My Wish”. Ayane then took the stage for the second time to perform “Arrival of Tears” from the anime 11eyes, followed by the winner of the second Anison Grand Prix, Himeka, who performed the song “Where I Belong” to a raving crowd.
The venue then turned into a sea of pink glowsticks as Yui Sakakibara took the stage to sing the ending theme from the anime Kanokon, “Flame of Love”. The enthusiasm of the crowd reached a climax as Asami Imai took the stage and passionately sang “Limited Love” from the PSP game Corpse Party - THE ANTHOLOGY - Sachiko's Game of Love - Hysteric Birthday 2U. The fans cheered so loud that the venue itself seemed to shake. The enthusiasm of the fans continued as Imai closed out the night with the song “Precious Sounds - Kaze ga Nokoshiteitta” off of her third album “Precious Sounds”, which was released on 28 November.
For the encore, many artists returned to the stage, with Shikura performing as the guitarist once more. Even though the event exceeded the five hour mark at this point, exhaustion couldn’t be seen on any of the fan’s faces and they continued to cheer out. To close out the event, the artists took the stage to greet the fans. Ayane, who has performed at Live 5pb. for five consecutive times, made a short speech saying “This event is overflowing with all of your love. To all the staff and artists, and of course the fans, thank you all very much!” Artists then began throwing signed balls out into the audience. The curtain closed on the long night with Shikura throwing one far into the crowd.
After the artists left the stage, the fans kept clapping even as they were leaving. Even after passing its five year mark, there is no question that fans’ love of the event remains strong and that they can’t wait to experience it again next autumn.
