The cosplay event Road to Oni-Cos was held on Oct. 31, 2012 in Shibaura, Tokyo.
The event, which focused on the theme “What can we do to insure a bright future for cosplayers?”, included discussions about the cosplay industry, a cosplay fashion show, and a cosplay masquerade. It was really a night for attendees to immerse themselves in cosplay.
At one point during the event, one of the members of Onigiri Project, the organization who put on the event, went on stage in a costume sporting the TokyoOtakuMode emblem and the crowd went crazy!
In reality, this event was just a warmup for the Onigiri Cosplay Collection Vol. 1 event on December 2 in Akasaka, Tokyo. We will also report on this event, so look forward to it!
