** It's been some 6 months since my original review below (3/5) and I like the figure now, since I put it together it's stayed together, the spear is OK and overall I wouldn't part with it at all now, so 4/5. **

These following complaints aside, if you can live with the fact it'll need care, patience and glue to put together you do end up with a good looking Asuka figure; but at this price point such things really should not be necessary.
