The crystal is pretty solid and heavy, the base stand is made of cheap plastic with LED lights to light up the crystal in either red, blue, green or white which the colors will alternate unless you set it to a specific color.
it requires 3 AAA batteries which are not included. The crystal has the serial no. engraved on it, mine is 140 :)
