Megumin gets a lot of figures, so the question is whether you should pick up THIS one specifically. The answer is a resounding yes, she's got an amazing sculpt with her cape and hat adding the perfect amount of framing to her figure. Colours are spot-on and shaded well. Best part is that she somehow looks great from any angle, with the distinctive flourish of her pose.
Acrylic charms are hit-or-miss, these are very good. Hang well and are usable with the included stand is desired. Character art is faithful to the series and the price is spot on.
Movic does great pins/badges. I really appreciate that they don't include huge lettering on the front which some other companies do. Not much else to say, Color differentiation is good and the characters look like they should. Quite happy.
I feel silly deducting a star for the base for a Nendo, but the grey cube is so poorly made that I feel it's necessary. Hina herself is great, her hat is a bit unstable but otherwise no complaints. The grey cube they included with her to simulate a pier (and give her the height for the fishing rod) is unstable and barely stays together. Appreciate the attempt but fell well short.
Bakugo was going to look good no matter who took a crack at this figure, but Kotobukiya's choice on how to detail his face was flawless. He's got a great expression, rounded out by a great colouring job and a good use of negative space on his suit.
I don't even know where to start. This Saber is amazing. She's well balanced despite the incredibly dynamic pose on the bike, her clothing and hair have great conformity with the overall pose and the colours (while subdued) are shaded really well. And she's HUGE, So happy to have had the chance to get her.
Really love how Fine Clover chose to sculpt Tanya, she's kept small in stature but is accentuated by the base and accessories such that she appears larger. Hair is dynamic and the detailing on even her undershirt is impressive. Very pleased.
I love this figure, but I want to acknowledge the flaws in the colour shading of the hair compared to the tunic. The pose is great and the detailing work is superb. Super happy I ordered her
Great figure that faithfully captures the character. Shocked by how big he is despite only being a 1/7th. Largest figure I own by a clear margin, make sure you have the space to dedicate before purchasing. Bones are well detailed from all angles and the paint work is consistent across the figure.
Shiro is captured exceptionally here. Her hair work is impressive and her pose is equal parts cute and seductive, colours are a bit different from past Shiro figures, but are in-line with the source the figure captures. Really glad I picked her up, despite the many delays and long shipping process.
I went back and forth on whether I liked the design they chose for Beatrice. While I ultimately like the figure I think it fails to capture some of her qualities. The great base elevated the figure to the point where I'm glad I got her, but certainly not a favorite in my collection.
Uraraka is another solid figure in this Hero Academia line. Fits in well with everyone else and is priced right. Absolutely no complaints, sculpt was professional and she looks great with her serious pose.
While not a well known character, she's certainly cute enough to stand on her own merits. Most impressive is the amount of detail added to a figure where white/gray is the main colour motif. Vibrant despite remaining true to character. Parasail is more than just a repainted umbrella, no corner cut on this figure.
Colour really POP on this figure, detail in the hair and clothing are great and the post is dynamic and charming. Exceptional all around.
Sagiri looks just like she did in the anime ED, cute design with great work on her hair especially. Figure support also seems good enough that I'm not concerned about her on display for years at a time. Glad she was executed so well.
Small (as all Pop-up-Parade figures are) but is a great offering for Goblin Slayer. Feels like a perfect accent to any display shelf. The armor design and colouring is impressive for such a pricepoint.
I'm amazed by the Alter quality on this figure. the level of detail on all aspects of the base, flag, and figure are beyond what I thought I could expect. Her hair and dress are well worth the asking price on their own, given how big she is. The flag puts it over the top, such an impressive figure.
First big scale I ordered, while I think the colours are great and am pleased by her hair/ears especially, I'm not sure her large billowing dress works as well on-display. Phat has a number of figures with a large display footprints but with Izuna's small stature I'm not sure this approach works for her. Figure itself ends up being overshadowed.
Pop Up Parade's quality vary a bit, but Kotoko is the gold standard they should strive for. Her sculpt is great and I'm glad they put detail into her prosthetic beyond what I think they were obligated to. Colours are plain but fit in with her character design. Highly recommended.
Have to start off by acknowledging the exceptional base on this figure, Kotoko's sculpt is really nice and lines up to her design really well. Side profile is a little off but from front-on I think this is a really great figure for her. Hair and dress are well detailed even if the colours are a bit plain.
Bought on a deep discount, quality isn't bad at all but I'm confused by the default price. Glad I was able to pick this up but I'm not sure if I could recommend similar products to others.
This pack came in handy over the holidays, I had never purchased anything on DLsite before. But between the discount on this point pack and the various coupons and sales available on DLsite itself it felt great to shop around and support artists I've long admired.
I'm overjoyed to see anything from the Uma Musume series, and I'm so happy this nendo turned out so well. Special Week is very cute and the expression variety is really great. The starting gate accessory sold me on getting this figure and I'm very pleased I did.
Somehow it's taken me this long to buy a Nendo. I'm quite impressed with the variability of the poses/expressions you can create. Paintwork is great and price is good. I am a little disappointed in the lack of non-sword accessories but that shouldn't detract too much from my recommendation.
Great re-release of a quality figure from years ago. Detailing and shading of the clothing is well executed and the size/pose are faithful to the original LotGH show.
Nothing against this figure, Good Smile did a good job overall. I wish there was something to contrast all the warm colours though. Perhaps future figures will help with that, but on its own Saber Lily is a bit lacking.
Thank God they nailed Coco's colours. I was looking for a faithful design and was very pleased with what I got. All of the subtle details add a lot to this figure without looking cheap or distracting. Very impressed with the compactness of this figure as well, especially with the level of detail on display.
This figure suffered a number of delays, but the quality of her ultimate release speaks for itself. The layered clothing and attention to detail on her hair and charms are first-class. The base is what really sets her apart though, it complements an otherwise boring pose to make Ichago stand out in a larger collection. Very happy to have picked her up.
Taito; the manufacturer for this figure, has blown me away with the quality of these prize figures. Other than Pop-up-Parade releases, I had written off figures at this scale/price. They did a wonderful job with this Rem. Colors are bright and the hair and jacket are extremely well detailed. I'm Impressed.
Nice themed packaging at a completely reasonable price.
I appreciate the themed packaging of this. Priced right as well.
For those into video games, having this book on your table/shelf is a must.
Bought as a gag-gift for a friend, they certainly got a laugh out of these.
I love the artist who designed this figure and and impressed with the overall quality. Sculpt and detailing are first class and the pose is great when looking from above or level with the figure. Some of the shading is a bit dark, though I prefer that to the opposite of oversaturating the colours. Excellent all-around.
Miku has a lot to live up to here, the start of a new line of figures for Good Smile. I'm happy to say she's a huge step up from prize figures, and for the price a great value despite being somewhere around a 1/12 scale. I'm quite pleased.
The ArtFX J line for Hero Academia is getting quite large, but I the quality on each release is still as high as ever. Figure is well done with great details and shading. For the price this line of figures is hard to beat.
My game of the year in 2019, pleased to see this artbook release. One of the few times I'm happy to pick-up a non-localized book. Exceptional print quality and well bound. Very pleased.
So glad this figure got a re-release. Everything about this figure from her belt to her gun are exceptional. Great attention to detail and a good choice of pink that's true to the character.
I'm cautious about acrylics, these are pretty good but there is a lot of excess material surrounding each character. Overall pretty good.
Went back and forth on getting this one, due to the pose and lack of clothes. Steph is great and Phat did a great job on her sculpt, but overall I'm not sure it's the best pose this character could have had.
Of all the Holo figures out there, the face on this 10th anniversary figure is the most accurate. For a 1/8th she's quite large especially with her stand. Appreciate the attention to detail and overall charm.
Hard to not like this selection, any one of these keychains is a great purchase.
Tsumamare always put out great keychains, really appreciate additional character selection. Prefer the slightly higher price without having to rely on blind boxes.
For the number of straps you get these are well priced. Sizes are great and I appreciate having multiples of the same character in different outfits/poses. One tiny flaw is some of their swords are a bit flimsy and are easy to bend if you're not careful.
These straps are LARGE, while some may appreciate that they really struggle to go along with a larger collection. Poses are cute but not enough to change my opinion.
I appreciate pins with more of a focus on the character rather than a design or a name. These pins nail it on all counts. Good colours without being washed out.
Props to Mythos for creating a really intricate figure. The water shell is the highlight of course, but everything from her hands to her hair to the dagger is incredibly well sculpted and painted.
I frankly wasn't expecting this to be a quality bag. Much bigger and more durable than I would anticipate for the price. Nice little add-in.
The only complaint I have is that the pillow could be stuffed more. It's a cool size for a microbead pillow, and compared to most dakimakura cores, this one is quite unique.
Classic C.C. pose from Code Geass R1 that will never fall out of style. Hair is excellent and the figure manages to look good from any angle. Non-Scale nature means it is not quite a 1/7, but I can't say that detracts in any way.
I love this piece, there is no better way to display a Nendoroid than riding in their very own post-apocalyptic Russian-made light personnel carrier.
I really like the size and material of these keychains. That said, the colours for them are a bit over-saturated, most apparent in the skintones of each. It's a shame because for the price they're very nice keychains.
I REALLY appreciate these full sets rather than individual blind boxes. I find that rubber keychains/straps also look a lot better than acrylics, so I have no qualm recommending to anyone who likes SAO.
It feels weird to seek out one of the less lewd Chloe figures, but compared to everything else from Prisma Illya this is the tamest figure by far. Skin tone feels right and while the pose could be better, overall happy with her.
Having collected all of the Strike Witches/Brave Witches figures released so far, the price for Hikari seems out of sync with everything else. Alter's craftsmanship is excellent as usual, but I can't quite get over the price of this lovely figure.
While not quite as good as Chito, one of the better Nendoroids I've seen, completes the set and is a lot truer to the character than most figures could be.
I'm not a huge fan of Nendoroids usually, but these from Girls' Last Tour are too cute to pass up. Faces are expressive and there is enough attention to detail that I have no trouble recommending.
While this is indeed an overpriced, and fairly middle-of-the-road in terms of comfort, I assumed that the design would more than make up for all that.
Unfortunately, I'm left quite disappointed with the seam lines and (for lack of a better word) discoloration on top of cushion. Clearly left out of all the promotional pictures to avoid this discussion. I still can't figure out why it was designed this way.
While it might seem a bit silly, these themed sweatshirts are so much fun. For the price it was of great quality and hasn't faded at all from use or in the wash. Subtle enough to be worn anywhere without worry, but an appreciable level of detail representative of Nero herself.
I feel bad being too harsh on this set, because Rin is cute enough to probably be worth something on her own. Takashima Castle however, is not. Depending on what you're looking for, it might stand in for a background building well enough, but as a piece in an of itself, I can't say I'm impressed at all.
Feels only fair to rate the overall set as 5/5. Ray's the standout of the trio, and if any were going to stand on their own it would be his. I do think I'd still err on the side of recommending all three together, but I wanted to give Ray his due.
Feels only fair to rate the overall set as 5/5, Emma's figure is very nice, even though her pose is a bit simple. I'm not sure I'd ever recommend buying her separate from the other two. But as a set they're very nice.
Feels only fair to rate the overall set as 5/5, though I do think Norman's figure is the weakest of the 3 kids in the set. While I really like his lantern, there is something off about his pose which makes his proportions look a bit odd. I'm not sure I'd ever recommend buying him separate from Ray and Emma. But as a set they're very nice.
I've never been so conflicted on a review in my life, partially down to me underestimating the level of papercraft experience needed for this kit.
I managed, and I'm happy with the end product, though I think if I did this kit again it would come out much better. For the price, this is a hard but fair entry-point into the world of papercrafts. Make sure you know going in what sorts of tools and glue you'll need. A little on the small side once completed, but you'll appreciate the density of details while you're building. Different from most other products on TOM, can't say I'm disappointed.
I can definitely appreciate the stylistic choices made with this figure. From her uniform, to her base, to her colouring. I'm sure there are a great many opinions on whether each were most true to her character. The level of detail on display here, especially with her hair, are truly unparalleled. She looks great from almost any angle and there are enough small details included on her sculpt to easily be worth the asking price.
I've been fairly unhappy with most Kurisu figures, and was reluctant ordering a Christmas-themed version at first. Glad I pulled the trigger as this is easily her best figure in terms of pose and sculpt. If you're looking for something a bit different, definitely worth giving a look.
Very nice figure, can't say I've seen many Christmas themed figures that manage to not overdo the "Santa" theme. Sculpt is extremely high quality, colours look nice and there are some great details all over. Hair ornaments seal the deal. Very pleased.
The chest and coins are a nice addition to her base, but unfortunately are a bit drab, colour-wise. No complaints on her sculpt, hair is well done for a budget figure. Pleased overall.
I'll admit, the base alone sold me on this figure and I was not disappointed. Quite a large scene is depicted, especially given that Younis is so small. Not much to add other than this pair certainly lived up to my expectations.
Appreciate that this pack contained all 7 girls. No complaints as to the colors or details of anything. Very nice keychains, for daily use or displaying.
In the process of assembling. Instructions have been really clear so far, no complaints on the colors or details. Really solid model kit, nice entry-point for train collecting as well.
I'm blown away by the work Good Smile did on various parts of this figure. Tips of her dress and her hair strands add a great amount of detail from a distance. Really enjoy having her on display.
I own both versions of Mash now, and I have to admit I vastly prefer this look for her. Without her equipment on, you can better appreciate the work done on her clothing and hair. For the price, it's a clear choice between the two.
I was going back and forth between this one and her Limited Version. I enjoy her design here more, but didn't like how her sword/scabbard look. After getting it in my hands, my opinion's unchanged. The blue colour used is a bit harsh, whereas the purple shades used elsewhere work really well. Not a deal-breaker by any means, she looks good in my collection, but I can't say she's a favorite of mine like I was hoping she'd be.
She's a bit busy as far as figures go, lots of detail with her hair receiving the most attention. Pose isn't my favorite, but it's serviceable and I can look past some of my misgivings thanks to the overall quality.
Older figure with many delays, and I wasn't expecting much honestly. Delightfully surprised by how she turned out, looks great on a shelf with or without her base.
Midoriya is well coloured, especially his hair/face. Size is right for the price-point, makes me excited for collecting more of this series.
As others have said, the base is completely optional this time, no pegs/holes/indents he needs to rest on. The sword/shield are also pretty much free in the hands, meant more to rest up against him than actual be held by him.
Looking at all four figures in this series so far; I do like this one a lot, even if I think his design is simpler than the others. As always, amazing value for this price.
Not usually into figures with less clothing, but this design works for LLENN really well. It's the right size and has a pose that works well with a larger collection.
Still Can't get over how much I love this design. The darker hair and attention to detail on the face make her the best Konosuba figure on the market.
Hair doesn't seem to be the same quality as the rest of the figure. Colour and detail are lacking on this one part, but are otherwise up to the standard you would expect. Not overjoyed with her.
Surprised how much I liked this figure. Ability to pose her freely and change a number of her accessories lets her be a great piece anywhere on a shelf/desk.
Pose really makes this figure intriguing, incredibly detailed at this price and the entire thing is brought together by the sword.
Goes well with a variety of other figures, quite impressed with the detail on this figure for the price, great part of a collection.
Really like the figure overall. Glad she has so much colour and size to her hair. One downside: it was quite hard to fully connect her mechanical wing.
The colours on this figure really pop, it was way bigger than I expected and had great detail on the clothing layers.
Best of the Banpresto Dark Souls figure series. Amazing detail for the price and a great entry-point for collecting.
Figure is a bit simplified detail-wise, but compliments a collection well overall.
This figure is inclined backwards at a bit of an odd angle. Makes it harder to display than I was anticipating.
Well detailed at this price-point, colour is a bit dull and the belt is a bit odd. But I'm pleased overall.
Impressed by the paint job on this figure, more than just choice lighting in the preview pictures.
