As others have said, the base is completely optional this time, no pegs/holes/indents he needs to rest on. The sword/shield are also pretty much free in the hands, meant more to rest up against him than actual be held by him.

Looking at all four figures in this series so far; I do like this one a lot, even if I think his design is simpler than the others. As always, amazing value for this price.
