Miru Tights is a short, 4-minute episode, 13 episode anime (13th episode is BD exclusive) that looks pretty great. If you love girls in tights and lots of shots of girls in tights talking about girls in tights with other girls in tights, then you, are a person of culture and will enjoy this anime. It also comes with a little 8-page comic (in Japanese) and all the art is top notch. It does have English subtitles, so even people like me can take in all the conversations!
I'm a massive Okita fan and so when I saw this FGO Duel set featuring all the GudaGuda characters, I pounced on it. While I have never played the game itself, I still like these sets as a cheaper alternative to buying bigger figures (or rolling for the characters in game). It's unfortunate that the cards aren't in English. They have a website in English with all the rules and translations, but it doesn't have this set up last I checked. Also, the secret figure delighted me a lot as it was a 1 star servant who I grailed up to level 80 in the game. She is just so cute :3
There just isn't much Kino's Journey merch out there, and this acrylic stand is a nice little addition for any desktop. Just think of it like a significantly cheaper version of a figure. It comes with a chain so you can hang it up, but it's kinda big for that.
I really loved volume 1 of the Soul Eater Art so this was a no-brainer to pick up. It contains art from the second half of the series as well as Soul Eater NOT, so if you're only familiar with the anime, you may not be familiar with the scenes depicted. As always, Atsushi Ohkubo is a master with a very unique and iconic style. It's all in Japanese, but that really doesn't matter since its almost entirely full page art pieces and very little writing.
I am only familiar with Akio Watanabe through the Monogatari series, but I decided to pick this up anyway. I wasn't disappointed. I will definitely have to check out the rest of the series that he has done character designs for. His style really works for me.
I purchased this even though I'm not the biggest fan of figmas because 1)Amy is adorable and 2) it comes with her glider. I was not disappointed at all with it. It's typical figma quality (which is good) with a bunch of little accessories. I have come to like taking her glider and giving it to other figmas so they can have their chance to fly high as well.
This is probably my favorite production note book that I own. It contains two different books that open up in different directions. One has all the art for the witches/labyrinths while the other is character and real world setting art. There is even a bookmark inside! Even if you're not a fan of Rebellion, this is an incredible collection of Madoka art.
Yuki Urushibara's art is very pretty. This book is full of full page art, both colored (beautiful watercolor style) and not. It is all from the manga and not the anime. There are even some short comics, but it's all in Japanese so I can't read them. An excellent addition to anyone who is a fan of this fantastic manga.
First off, the sculpt and paint are top notch. The base is a bit plain, too. I knocked off a star because it was a real pain to get her rifle to sit in her hands properly. But now that I got it there, all is good!
While I can't imagine Rin ever wearing this kind of outfit, it is a cute and sexy look for her. She has an appropriately embarrassed face. It was pretty easy to attach her to the base and get her daggers in her hands. Overall, an excellent addition for any Rin fan! <3
These production notes books are really cool. It contains many sketches and concept art for all the characters that appear in Bakemonogatari. These kind of books aren't for everyone. Most of it is black and white and even unshaded, but it gives glimpses at the process of animating and designing characters. A must have for Monogatari freaks like me.
I've purchased a number of these heroines books, but this is my favorite by far, because it's for my favorite character in the Monogatari series. I wish there were more full page spreads, but what I did get is very excellent.
The art of Fire Emblem is what initially brought me to the franchise, so I'm always happy to pick up the art books. As it says, its in Japanese, but I bought this for the pretty pretty pictures, so I'm very happy with that :3
QuesQ did a great job with this Kongou figure. The paint and sculpt are on point. I really like how her guns aren't attached so she can take up a little less space in my very crowded collection.
I bought this because I thought the art was really nice, and it is so nice that I almost don't want to wear it lol. It actually came with instructions on how to wash it in a way to protect the print quality.
This is a very nice collection of KanColle art sorted by the various classes of ships. I've never seen most of the art in this book, which makes it a really cool addition to my artbook collection. I just wish I could read what it says because it looks like it has descriptions of each featured ships history with cute illustrations.
This book leaves off on a cliffhanger! I need more!
This is my first nanoblock purchase, and I must admit that I would like some more. I spent a couple hours carefully putting this together and it looks fantastic. When I say the blocks are small, I mean SMALL. I later found out that they sell tools to help handle the tiny blocks, but I was able to finish this build without a need for them. The instructions were also pretty easy to follow.
I saw this and decided to buy it as a fan of Tsubaki and Black*Star. It's a really nice notebook, and has cute images of their souls in the upper corner of each page. Who couldn't use that?
I have spent quite a bit of money on various works by Range Murata, so there aren't really many pictures here that I haven't seen before in one of my other books. However, the box they come in is really cool and the quality of the prints are pretty good as well.
I was really surprised how big this figure was when I got it. I recently finished reading the Soul Eater manga and I was on the hunt for cool Soul Eater figures. Unfortunately, there aren't many out there. Fortunately, this figure is awesome.
When I got this in the mail, I was REALLY impressed. The quality, pose, details, are all top notch. Must-buy for any Fate/Stay Night Fan.
This thing is awesome. Especially for someone who lives in rainy Oregon.
I haven't used this drink out of. I just like it as a huge fan of anything Hitagi.
I have come to like really these acrylic character stands. They are about the same height as shorter scale figures, but much, MUCH cheaper and take up less space too. These are a nice addition to any Angel Beats collection.
This is such a cute little figure! I have her on my desk right next to the Yui. KAWAIIIIIIIIIIII
After watching Angel Beats, I wanted to buy some merch and saw this cute little Yui and had to buy her. It is a great quality for the price! She has a nice spot right in front of me on my computer desk :3
I bought this for my sister for Christmas and she really loved it. She wore it all vacation and the whole time we were at Sakura-Con. She said its really comfortable and practical!
I wasn't totally sure what to expect when I bought this on a whim, but it has proven to be a really nice corner storage box. It's nice for small collection things because the box itself is soft. Plus, Angel is really cute :3
As a fan of Attack on Titan and keyframe art books, this is a must-have!
I have bought several of these keyframe books and they are really cool to look through. The books are really high quality and it is really cool to get to see the frames the artists drew for the animation process.
I'll be honest, I mostly bought this set for Yamato, but the other straps are really cute too :)
I am so happy to have straps for some of my favorite Kanmasu. Shigure! Yuudachi! Amatsukaze! They are really high quality and bigger than I expected. I have them hanging on some pins on my wall.
I'm not a big SAO fan, but I really liked Yuki and the Mother's Rosario arc and quickly pre-ordered this figure. It looks even better in person :)
I bought this for my sister and she loved it. It is currently hanging up in her room. Tales 4ever!
I pre-ordered this without knowing really what to expect from a Japanese calendar, but I must say that I'm going to buy one every year now. It is big and the pictures are lovely. You can safely tear them out with a perforated edge and save them as posters, too. I also really like how each picture is themed for the month appropriately.
Shinobu is as cute as ever with this figure. I couldn't be happier with this purchase :) I also appreciate that the box it comes in is smaller than a lot of my other figure boxes so it takes up less space.
I bought this for my sister since Olimar is her favorite Smash character. It was our first amiibo and we were impressed at the quality for the price. It exceeded our expectations :)
Shimakaze has such a cute character design and this figure does it great justice. The paint, the pose, the face...everything looks excellent!
I bought this as a gift for my sister and she loves it! She always preferred Inomata's character designs and art style.
BURNING LOVE!! KONGO!
Anyway, it's a really nice shirt and fit me quite well! Very comfortable.
After watching Gargantia, Chamber quickly became one of my favorite characters. So, I quickly sought out a figure and this one looked perfect in the images. I don't see a need to get any other Chamber figures because this one does it all. Soooo cool!
This is a really, REALLY cool set for any Bakemonogatari fan. It includes key art from the last two arcs of Bake (Nadeko Snake and Tsubasa Cat). I'm mostly just disappointed I wasn't able to find the first set. The packaging is very nice and an excellent addition to my shelf of art books.
