Yowamushi Pedal is the exciting bicycle-themed manga written and illustrated by Wataru Watanabe and serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion.

Otaku Sakamichi Onoda has just entered Sohoku High School where he hopes to join the anime club but it’s been disbanded due to lack of interest. Onoda rides a “mamachari” - a simple, cheap and reliable though heavy bicycle, which originally gets him mocked by the cooler cycling enthusiast Shunsuke Imaizumi until he notices how easily Onoda rides up steep slopes even on the relatively sluggish bike. His skills on the mamachari also get him noticed by fellow student Shoukichi Naruko and eventually Onoda is persuaded to join the Sohoku High School Bicycle Club alongside Imaizumi and Naruko as well as Shingo Kinjou, Yuusuke Makishima, Jin Tadokoro, Junta Teshima, Hajime Aoyagi, and Terufumi Sugimoto.
