Sengoku Basara Merchandise

Sengoku Basara is a multimedia franchise inspired by Japan’s “Sengoku” civil war era. Beginning with a series of RPGs published by Capcom, the original Sengoku Basara game series consists of seven games including: Sengoku Basara (AKA Devil Kings), Sengoku Basara 2, Sengoku Basara X, Sengoku Basara: Battle Heroes, Sengoku Basara 3, Sengoku Basara: Chronicle Heroes, and Sengoku Basara 4.

The series was also adapted into a TV anime by Production I.G. under the title Sengoku Basara: Samurai Kings, which was followed by Sengoku Basara II, a movie titled Sengoku Basara: The Last Party, and a third season of the TV anime titled Sengoku Basara: End of Judgement.

The anime adaptation focuses on the historical rivalry between the “Devil King” Oda Nobunaga and the unlikely alliance of Yukimura Sanada and Masamune Date. Moving into the second season, the show also showcases the emergence of Hideyoshi Toyotomi whereas the movie details the rebellion of Mitsunari Ishida, with Ieyasu Tokugawa finally making an appearance in End of Judgement.
