Aoi Nishimata

Aoi Nishimata is the top-rated character designer and illustrator who has worked on some of the most popular visual novels from Japanese game studio Navel. Before joining Navel in 2003, Nishimata worked on Natsuiro Kenjutsu Komachi for NEC IC, plus 21 -Two One- and Cherry Petals Fall Like Teardrops for Basil.

In addition to her work on visual novels, Nishimata has also provided character designs for some of the anime adapted from the games including Final Approach, Shuffle!, Lovely Idol, Shuffle! Memories, and We Without Wings.
