Dark fantasy anime Bastard!! is getting a second season this year on Netflix!
Subtitled Hell’s Requiem Arc, Season 2 will adapt the manga arc of the same name. In addition to a teaser trailer and visual, a celebratory illustration by Kazushi Hagiwara, the manga's original author, has been released.
Four additional cast members have also been revealed: Takuma Terashima as Joshua Berahia, Show Hayami as Nils John Mifune, Junichi Suwabe as Yngwei von Mattström, and Koji Yusa as Zion Sol Vanderverg.
Produced by Liden Films, the first season premiered in June 2022, with a total of 24 episodes released.
Originally a manga series by Kazushi Hagiwara, Bastard!! follows a reawakened dark wizard in a dystopian world inspired by heavy metal music and Dungeons & Dragons.
Bastard!! Season 2 will stream via Netflix sometime this year.
