Dr. Stone: Ryusui, an upcoming special anime episode from sci-fi franchise Dr. Stone, has unveiled its main trailer and a new visual!
The trailer reveals scenes from the first encounter between Senku, the protagonist of the original story, and Ryusui, a new character who has awakened from being frozen in stone. It also teases the pair's journey to the sky as they search for oil in the 60-minute special.
Based on Riichiro Inagaki & Boichi’s manga, Dr. Stone is set in a world where humanity has been turned to stone. After waking up alone, a young genius named Senku tries to bring back the world around him through the power of science.
The first season of the TV anime aired in 2019, while the second premiered in January 2021.
Dr. Stone: Ryusui will air on July 10, 2022, with Season 3 following in 2023.
