Crossover anime Isekai Quartet is getting an anime film set for release in 2022!
The film is titled Isekai Quartet ~Another World~. In addition to revealing a trailer and key visual, the official website states that the following staff are to return: Minoru Ashina as director and scriptwriter, Minoru Takehara as character designer and chief animation director, and Studio Puyukai for animation.
Isekai Quartet follows a group of chibified characters brought together from popular isekai shows Overlord, KonoSuba, Re:Zero, and The Saga of Tanya the Evil. One day, a mysterious button appears - upon pressing it, they find themselves transported to a completely new “isekai” world.
The first season ran from April to June 2019. Aired from January to March 2020, Season 2 also featured characters from The Rising of the Shield Hero and Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious.
Isekai Quartet ~Another World~ is set for release in 2022.
